Today we remember those that have lost their lives defending the United States of America. Well, God has a need for soldiers in his army. He’s looking for people that are will to lay their life down for their faith if need be. We also want to reduce the amount of souls that will be lost and condemned to hell. So, no matter where you are in life or the decisions you might have made this Memorial Day weekend or further in your past, the kingdom of God is still available to you.
Romans 10:9 (KJV) –
That if though shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
God is standing at the door of your heart knocking. Revelation 3:20 (KJV) states, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” God says that he draws all men and if you are at crossroads in your life and feel that something is lacking in your life or a void that is God’s way of drawing you to him. God is gentle, he is not a God that will step over your free will. He gives us free will to choose life (Him) or death. He says he stands at the door of your heart knocking waiting for you to invite him into your life.
God said to Jeremiah the prophet that before Jeremiah was placed in his mother’s womb, he pre-ordained him to be a prophet to the nations. Before you were born God called you by name and he knew all the sins you were going to commit before you were born, but God stands there at the door of your heart knocking and says I still want you and have chosen you to be a part of my kingdom.
Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV) states, “Before I formed you in the belly I knew thee; and Before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet to the nations.”
In 1 John 1:9 (KJV) God says that, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” There is no sin that can keep you from the love of God, except the unforgivable sin. He knew you before you were born and every sin that you would commit. So, he stands at the door of your heart knocking telling you to confess your sins and depart from sin and find eternal life in him. And this is how you can do just that and accept Jesus into your life.
If you are ready to open the door of your heart to Jesus pray this prayer of salvation and mean it with your HEART. Father, I am sorry for my sins please forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I believe Jesus is the son of God that he died on the cross and paid the full price for all my sins. I believe he was buried and rose again from the dead with all powers in his hands. Jesus, I invite you into my life. Come into my heart. I accept you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Now you are a part of the kingdom of God! Tell someone today about the choice you made.
