Galatians 6:2
2. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
As the end draws near stay steadfast, unmovable, unwavering and fervent in prayer. It is our job as Christians according to Galatians 6:2 to bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. And how we bear one another’s burden is through prayer and actively carrying out the words of Christ. When I look over my life the number one thing that kept me during tribulations, deep pain, receiving healing, deliverance, and staying faith-based is prayer. I realized at an early age that prayer is powerful, that I can’t do it on my own; I need you Jesus and I reach your throne by praying. I completely put my trust in you by praying, this is how I surrender my will to yours. I pray daily that God will incline his ears unto my prayers. I am confident that I am praying God’s will for my life and others and not my own will for theirs or my life. The key to getting prayers answered is being in alignment with God. I am in alignment with God when I am seeking the Lord’s face through his word and worship daily and when I fall out of alignment and connection to God, I pray that I quickly get back into alignment with God through confessing my sins and asking him to cleanse me of all unrighteousness. As I draw near to God, I began to resemble him in my speech, words and actions. I pray that his grace will cover me and that I live a righteous life before him meaning that I am in right standing with God not on my own merits but because of the Grace of the Lord. Once I stand assured in this, I know my prayers will be effective and reach the ear gates of the Lord. Then I can go boldly before the throne of grace to obtain mercy in a time of need with confidence and humility believing that my prayers will be answered. I strongly believe that as Christians we should stand on the word of God and use his word to pray for one another. How does that look? I ask the Holy spirit to direct me to scripture that address the prayer needs of others and pray that scripture with the holy spirit directing and leading me knowing that Gods word will not come back to him void but will accomplish what it is meant to accomplish. So, stay fervent in prayer for one another and watch the Lord miraculously answer your prayers.
